This modified lantern is a combination of the normal lantern base, with a unique top. Instead of a traditional top, I threw a bowl to rest on the top of the lantern. This was a idea in order to transform it into a wax melting scent disperser. It is about 7 1/2 " tall, and 4 inches wide. The pattern on all four sides are different foliage, leaves to be exact, with parts of them cut out like you see above to allow light through. In addition to letting light through, the cut outs define the detail and makes the leaves pop more. It's covered in the dark green glaze, however the scent bowl is a cobalt blue. I used rolled slabs, joined by miniature coils, to seal the spaces between the joined slabs.
